Gwamnatin Ostiraliya ta sanya na'urori masu auna firikwensin a sassan Babban Barrier Reef a kokarin yin rikodin ingancin ruwa.
Babban Barrier Reef ya kai kimanin murabba'in kilomita 344,000 daga gabar tekun arewa maso gabashin Australia.Ya ƙunshi ɗaruruwan tsibirai da dubban sifofi na halitta, waɗanda aka sani da reefs.
Na'urori masu auna firikwensin suna auna matakan laka da kayan carbon da ke gudana daga Kogin Fitzroy zuwa Keppel Bay a jihar Queensland.Yankin yana zaune a cikin yankin kudu na Babban Barrier Reef.Irin waɗannan abubuwa na iya lalata rayuwar teku.

Masana sun ce ana fuskantar barazana ga ingancin magudanan ruwa na gabar teku da na Ostireliya ta hanyar dumamar yanayi, da yawan birane, sare itatuwa da kuma gurbatar yanayi.

An lura da cewa, gwamnatin Ostiraliya ta riga ta fara aiwatar da shirye-shirye da yawa da nufin rage illar da ruwa ke haifarwa a rayuwar teku.Waɗannan sun haɗa da ƙoƙarin kiyaye tsire-tsire da ke girma a gefen kogi da sauran jikunan ruwa don taimakawa wajen kawar da magudanar ruwa.
Masu kula da muhalli sun yi gargadin cewa Great Barrier Reef na fuskantar barazana da dama.Wadannan sun hada da sauyin yanayi, gurbacewar yanayi da kwararar kayayyakin amfanin gona.Reef - wanda ke tafiyar kusan kilomita 2,300 - yana cikin jerin abubuwan tarihi na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya tun 1981.
